How many guests can you accommodate for a wedding?

Our venue capacity is 50. DJ’s, bartenders, and catering staff do not count toward this total.

How long is the rental period?

The rental period is 27 hours from 9am until noon the following day and includes a night in the guesthouse for the wedding couple.

Is lodging available?

We do provide lodging for the wedding couple for the duration of the rental period. Additional days are generally available to reserve before or after your event, if desired. We do not provide lodging for guests but there are numerous hotels and short-term rentals a short drive away.

Do you have parking available?

We do. We can accommodate approximately 20 cars.

Do you have tables and chairs that we can use for ceremony and dinner?

Yes. We have an assortment of tables, benches and chairs that are included in the fee. (Some restrictions apply.)

Can we tour the property?

Yes! Please contact us at wilson.farm.event@gmail.com to arrange a time.

Is there nearby lodging for all of our guests?

There are plenty of great hotel and Airbnb accommodations close to Wilson Farm. A list of lodging options is available with our recommended vendor list.

Can Wilson Farm provide staff to help run my event?

We do not provide any event coordination services, but will be available on the day of event to help with facility coordination. This includes making sure furniture is set, assisting with parking, and last minute logistic changes.

Can Wilson Farm accept deliveries and be on hand for pickups before and after my event?

We ask that vendors have a four hour delivery window on the day before and after the event. We will have a Facility Manager onsite during those times.

Who will set up my event space?

Any tables, chairs, decor, or furniture items that are being provided by Wilson Farm will be put in place on the day of the event by our staff. Set up of rental items or decorations from outside vendors or the client is the responsibility of the client, their planner, or the providing vendor.

What is the restroom situation for our event guests?

There is a restroom located in the barn.

Do you have more than one event at a time?

No. We only accommodate one group at a time.

May we have a DJ or a band?

Both DJ’s and small bands are allowed but, if amplified, must be located in the barn. Some exceptions can be made for ceremony or cocktail reception.

Do you require insurance?

Special Event Liability Insurance is required of all Clients. If alcohol is to be served, the server must be licensed and insured. Their policy must include Liquor Liability coverage. Catering services are also required to carry Liability coverage.

Is the barn climate controlled?

We do not have heating or air conditioning for the barn at this time. With the windows and doors open and ceiling fans on, we find that most days are very comfortable during the summer months. Heating and cooling units are available through rental companies.

What are the timing constraints?

Live music needs to end at 9:30 pm and the venue will be closed by 10:30p.

Who is responsible for garbage?

Wilson Farm provides numerous garbage cans conveniently located throughout the venue for your use. Disposal of garbage following the event will be handled by Wilson Farm staff. Large item which do not fit within garbage cans will be the responsibility of the renter to haul away at the conclusion of the event. We ask that vendors do no leave any packing materials on site.

What is the rain backup plan for my outdoor ceremony?

We highly recommend that you have a tent rental on standby.

Does Wilson Farm provide any sound gear?

We do not. There are bluetooth capable speakers located in the pavilion and we have a simple microphone and small amplifier that you are welcome to use for the ceremony, but DJ’s or bands should bring their own equipment.

Can I host a rehearsal dinner or brunch on the property?

Any additional event needs to be planned with Wilson Farm in advance and will be quoted based on details.

How do I secure my date and what is the payment schedule?

To secure your date, we require a $500 deposit along with a signed contract. Payments can be divided into equal installments, if desired.

What types of payment do you accept?

Cash is preferred but we also accept payments via check or credit card. If you do pay with a credit card, we add a 4% transaction fee.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Oregon State liquor laws require that your liquor caterer has a valid liquor license and is responsible for alcohol distribution during service. Numerous mobile bartending services allow you to purchase the liquor they will serve. A list of preferred vendors is available.
